Forest Fables is an inclusive storymaking adventure!
We interweave storytelling, native plants and animals, and fun site-specific missions to build friendships with self, others, and the great outdoors.

We craft immersive site-specific adventures for young children of varying abilities to encounter nature and forge friendships with each other through storytelling and the arts.

We equip educators and caregivers with playkits and resources to facilitate safe and imaginative nature play for young children of varying abilities in Singapore’s natural spaces.

Why is the Banyan tree so sad? These young adventurers are determined to find out why and put a smile on him again!

The Wise Old Banyan Tree has been living on Bishanland for the past 450 years. She must know something we don't!

The children encounter an unexpected visitor arrives with a peculiar request ... can they help him?

Off the children go, finding branches and leaves to make Edgar the Egret something special to remember of the beautiful Bishanland.

Kakak the Kingfisher leads the children to the stream, where they hear the next clue lies!

The children are on a treasure hunt around their neighbourhood!

"The children in the low-support class are appreciative of this program and thoroughly enjoyed themselves during the lessons. In Ang Mo Kio Bishan park, they had the chance to explore the outdoors and engage in a range of activities, including crawling through tunnels, climbing up and down valleys, crossing streams, making a raft using sticks / twigs and role-playing. The children's skills were taken into account when adapting the story and activities, and they learned the name of the tree and what to do if they see otters, snakes, or other creatures. The facilitators effectively engage the kids by making props to represent the story's characters, writing an animal-themed song and planning fun activities."
